BYDSA Table of Offences and Fines for 2005/2006

Offence 1.0 Late Team Registration of Players - $10.00 Fine per Week - clubs will be given a six (6) day grace period from the first scheduled game date of of the season - regardless of whether a team has a bye in the first game of the schedule.

Offence 2.0 Lack of Required Documentation - $10.00 Fine per Week - for failure to provide supporting documents such as birth certificates and risk management forms to the district registrar.

Offence 3.0 Improperly or Incompletely Filled-Out Forms - $10.00 Fine per Team per Form - for failure in submitting properly completing the following forms:  Team Affliliation form;  Team Roster;  Divisional and Mini Team Registration form;  individual player registration form; transfer form; and lack of photo ID.

Offence 4.0 Lack of Photo ID by October 1st, 2005 - $10.00 Fine per Team Official per Week or $20.00 Fine per Team per Week - for failure to provide photo ID to the district registrar for the preparation of player/coach ID cards - fines will be assessed commencing October 2nd, 2005.

Offence 5.0 Falsifiying Player Address Information - $200.00 Fine per Incident - clubs will be assessed this substantial fine if proven that the club has falsified a player's address.  Other expenses, such as courier fees, will be in addition to the fine.

Offence 6.0 Violation of Field Closures - $200.00 Fine per Incident - teams who violate the field closure order will be substantially fined.

Offence 7.0 Failure to Provide Assistant Referees - $20.00 Fine per Assistant per Game - applies to U16, U17 and U18 divisions only.  Clubs will be assessed this fine for failing to provide two assistant referees for each game.

Offence 8.0 Lack of Providing Game/Field Necessities - $25.00 Fine for Each Non-complying Item - clubs will be assessed a fine for not providing lined fields; for not providing corner flags; for not providing goal nets; for not producing Photo ID cards at the game; and for not providing a team list.

Offence 9.0 Persistent Verbal Abuse of a Game Official - Maximum $100.00 Fine for each Incident - clubs will be assessed a fine for persistent criticism and/or disputing of calls.

Offence 10.0 Threat of Physical Abuse of a Game Official - Maximum $500.00 Fine for each Incident - clubs will be assessed a fine where a threat of physical abuse is made to a game official.

Offence 11.0 Changing a Registered Team Name - $50.00 Fine - clubs will be assessed the fine for changing the team name - does not apply to U15 divisional teams.
